Coastal route Tarifa - Bolonia (round trip, 40 km)
This is the most popular and spectacular route. Following the N-340 and turning off by secondary roads towards the beach, it leads from Tarifa to the beach of Bolonia along the Atlantic coast. The terrain is relatively flat with some steep slopes, and the views are constant. Estimate 2-3 hours one way, including a stop for a swim in Bolonia.
Sierra de la Plata Route (30 km, medium difficulty)
For mountain bike lovers, this route climbs from the coast to the peaks of the Sierra de la Plata, with simultaneous views of the Atlantic and the Strait of Gibraltar. The descent is technical and exciting.
Cycling through the white villages
The most prepared can consider a route of several days connecting Tarifa with Vejer de la Frontera, Medina Sidonia and other villages of the Cadiz countryside. The network of secondary roads with little traffic makes cycle touring a very pleasant option in this area.
